Water Everywhere

Oceanside Harbor Mouth, November 30.

Hi folks,

First: Gus and I and the rig are surrounded on four sides by water. Four, not three (photos to come). Looking out any of my windows takes me right out of the funk I’ve been in. I mean right out. (I think the real reason for this lame post is to share that.)

Just thought I’d mention that. (I’ll be here for at least two days, so any of you in the area, come by and say hi. I’m parked as far seaward as you can go and still be dry. ‘Banditobooks.com’ plus ‘Ditch Plains’ on the door side.)

Not sure why it’s taken so long to do a post; a whole shitload of stuff has happened since my last one. I mean a real bunch. One example: I photographed some lights in the sky over the Salton Sea (elevation -400 feet) that are not explicable via natural or man-made phenomena of the ‘normal’ sort.

I’m struggling over the post about this. I keep thinking ‘It must be such-and-such,’ then, ‘Nahhhh.’ Weird.

This is just one example, though. Lots of other stuff.

So this post is just to alert you to a coming one, which, as I say, is giving me trouble. But hang in!

Allan

Here’s a Postcard from back at the Bay of Fundy, which I did before I starting adding music. Couldn’t squeeze it in anywhere else and didn’t want to let it slide…
