I’m close to done with a more serious post, but I couldn’t help mentioning the ‘Colbert Insurrection.’ I can’t recall a more public and utterly hilarious example of hypocrisy than what happened at the Capitol a few days ago, last Thursday, I think.
Colbert, who is responsible for this, has to somehow explain how his employees, presumably working under his orders, got arrested for trespassing at the Capitol (spent the night in jail). Here’s Carlson’s take. Truly, to get how far this country has deteriorated, you have to view both links.
Is there a crime Colbert can be charged with? I don’t mean conspiracy to subvert our democracy or some such. I’m talking about the crime of… irony… terminal hypocrisy?… Know what I mean?

My wife wanted to watch General Hospital right now. We turned on the TV. There was the January 6th hearing, A woman with purple hair was talking about Trump. We turned off the TV. It’s hard not to miss the hypocrisy, fakeness, etc…Poor Simone Gold, of America’s Frontline Doctors. She was walking with the crowd, and she got waved into the Capitol. Then they threw the book at her. For everyone else rioting the past year, they dropped the charges (see Portland, Minnesota, Seattle). Not for Simone Gold! She got a plea deal and she will have to spend 60 days in jail, pay a stiff fine, and she might lose both her law license and her medical license. Was she violent? Absolutely not. Her crime was walking into a building. First offense of criminal trespass, and they nailed her. I wonder if the Colbert criminals will get the same punishment–combined!
I’m surprised its not 66.6 days in jail. We are getting played so hard, its almost beyond belief.

I gotta sometimes wonder if I’ve gone too far down a “rabbit hole” for myself when I find I’m questioning how many, if any (apart from maybe some “mentally ill” peeps like the Viking Guy, son of a big shot tho he may be) of the Jan 6 political prisoners are really being held in jail. I may be utterly deranged for lodging in my mind a suspicion that they’re not… I definitely question if the murder of the woman inside the building was a psy-op, and, yes, I’ve seen the available video. I’ve also seen video of the Capitol “police officers” letting people inside the little gates… those are harder to find now. How do they have any more authority than some campus cops?
Tucker does a great job showing the left’s hypocrisy. We are truly living in an Alice in Wonderland world. Interestingly, Jesus hated hypocrisy more than anything else.
