Anything unusual or worth mentioning about this pic?
Say what you want about Tucker Carlson but I’ve found him to be a valuable resource regarding a level of what’s going on in the U.S. and world-wide. For example, here he exposes a situation wherein a woman was arrested for praying near an abortion clinic in the U.K. She was standing silently, not harassing anyone or even speaking out loud. The cops asked her if she was praying and when she affirmed this she was arrested.
I re-read Orwell’s 1984 recently, just to verify that stuff like the above is in fact the way the world is heading, and that it is actually at least as bad as it is in the book. This episode of The Daily Wire with Matt Walsh defines the words that are now politically forbidden, usually for racial or sexual reasons. In this one, he informs us that dictionaries are now being rewritten to conform to cultural relativism. ‘Woman,’ for example is now ‘A person who identifies as female though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth.’
‘It’s a wonderful thing, the destruction of words,’ is a line from Orwell’s book, as Winston listens to a re-writer of the NewSpeak dictionary, the point being that soon it will be impossible to have ‘incorrect’ thoughts, since there will not be any words to express such thoughts.
Anyone who doesn’t realize that this is the goal of the PTB is an idiot. (Interestingly, 1984 is still on many schools’ required reading list, as if it’s more of an instructional manual than a warning.)

Right re the pic! He’s a cardboard cutout, which I didn’t notice until I did a close up. Not sure what I was/am trying to say here; something about the deceit and the surveillance we’re subjected to. I’ll put this in my book then closer shots every 50 or so pages to see when/if people notice the allusion/illusion. (Had I not used a hint in the caption, would you have noticed? Hard to say?)

I don’t get it, Allan, you seem like a smart guy who wants to be open-minded and willing to surf the cultural waves where ever they may take you . Yet you always seem to end up on top of the latest wave of right-wing (or is it reich-wing) grievance, the latest culture-war-as-incitement designed to rile up the rubes and yahoos. Talk about “grooming”!
As someone who has studied journalism and reads all kinds of sources on a daily basis, I observe that the special talent – if you want to call it that – of the right-wing echo chamber is framing every issue to create outrage and engender fear and loathing. Anger is stoked for a purpose: To drive a political agenda, no matter how destructive that anger may be. It gets people to act to attack the desired target, “wokism or trans people, or . . whatever (see the Jan 6th attack on the capitol over . . LOL . . the “stolen election” as just ONE example).
After the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine in the later years of the Reagan administration, some of the people involved in his illegal White House propaganda machine (like Roger Ailes) left to create the beginnings of the right-wing echo chamber which gave rise to conservative talk radio and Fox News. And these influences have been key in radicalizing a generation of mostly older Americans. Which brings us to the sources you seem to gravitate most readily to.

Yeah, trans people can be creepy but gender fluidity has been around for millennia , you can read about it among indigenous tribes or the ancient Chinese. Is trying to allow for that phenomena and trying to give respect to those struggling with that issue the same as promoting it (as in “grooming” our children to be trans)? We know what the echo chamber wants you to think, don’t we? (see people like Matt Walsh, his anti-trans documentary film, What Is A Woman?, and his platform on Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire).
Is it worth pointing out that, as the Jan. 6th report is finally released with it’s hundreds of pages of details about how the emerging fascism of the right tried to overthrow our government institutions, the outrage that fueled that insurrection came from the same echo chamber that you’re now parroting? Is “wokism” really the problem here or is it a distraction from the well-organized, well-funded efforts to create autocracy? Because that’s what is happening here. Maybe you need a little ‘wokism”, huh?
Enough said, this seems like a futile effort.

You have expressed some good points generally speaking. Considering let’s say gender fluidity a massive gain or a huge threat at the same time is equally idiotic. Guess we all know truly important matters have been kept behind curtains since the Middle Ages.
I have zero issues when it comes to people with different views considering as adults we might be capable of operating some sort of logical take on things. My bad.
The more we are going to focus on silly stuff the worst the anger will get and the 6th of January is gonna look like an afternoon tea. Getting back at Capitol Hill that was nothing…a bunch of folks expressing their disapproval…isn’t that supposed to be the core of the democratic process?
Many other points to discuss about if you want to and let’s remind ourselves we don’t know shit even when we think we do.
I think Obi is merely saying the same thing that Allan himself expressed a few months back, when he said that writing his blog and reading the comments wasn’t doing anything or going anywhere or breaking any new ground. Sounds like the definition of an echo chamber to me.
And I agree. I think Allan is a stunning talent and great observer of reality. But the fact that he attacks everyone who shares an alternative point from his own, regardless of them being supportive of his quest, just to re-affirm his self-anointed genius, is the very depiction of an echo chamber to me.
So don’t expect anything other than to be entertained by a logical mind torturing itself because he refuses to embrace the magickal power by which his opponents operate, and by which his own greater liberation and understanding could be secured!

That may be…Allan has his take on things and that’s fine with me. I normally see behind him as an author, as a person focusing on the issues he points out and from there it is possible to discuss trying to explain our views.
Let’s say there’s an echo chamber around here…my suggestion would be to sneak out the person inside that very chamber or at least getting into it trying to get rid of the echo bringing different sounds while you’re there.
Echo chamber? Give an example, a specific one, of how I don’t put up with (well reasoned) disagreements. What happens, I’ve found, is when I ask for specifics, I get silence.
If I disagree with someone, I am apt to say ‘I disagree.’ Is there a problem with that? Once in a great while I get testy but not often. Show me one or two of me getting testy for no reason, i.e., a reason being the nasty tone of the commenter.

My question is how far down the road before that reality occurs?
I know its a clear and present danger for some of us because we have seen what happens to those that have stood up and spoken too loudly (The Kennedy’s, MLK, Malcolm X, William Cooper, Robert Nesta Marley, Ghandi, Chief Sitting Bull etc etc) and countless other dissidents who experienced the Gulag archipelago Asian or German internment camps being enemies of the state(Babylon) expressing opinions on Imperialism, Colonialism, Nazism Fascism Bolshevism (whatever ism) to them who have been silenced one way or another (and their families too) is a heavy weight of warning to those of us who are brave stoopid or rebellious enough to speak up… throwing caution to the wind in these carefully crafted times of subversive gaslighting psyops that are breaking down society into warring factions, how do we spread Truth and be Peacemakers at the same time?
Or is it better to let people be blissfully unawares?
Personally Im undecided now 5 decades into the matrix on what is the best course of action, because like you Allan there is a part of me that wants to just wander off into the wilderness and be left alone (even though its getting tougher and tougher to do) and seek solace.

The time we are in now is the time of THE PHOENIX. America and the world will be burned and shattered, not all at once,and not everywhere until 2040, but whatever change is coming is coming through the form of FIRE….and WE ASKED FOR IT. No one is a victim to what is happening in this world, but a co-creator of it.
Not all is bad news, but trying to save this world will certainly cause us to lose it. It doesn’t need saving. There is a divine plan and a divine time. Allan’s observations of The Moon are enough to point this out.
When the BIG CHANGES COME, all of us will have NEW ROLES to play, ones we can’t even imagine right now.

the imminent future holds a considerate amount of crap no doubt about that.
Apart from “1984” I would suggest we are incredibly close to “Brave new world” by Aldous Huxley plus certain aspects of “Flow my tears, the policeman said” by Philip K. Dick.
Hear this. A man here in Italy is been convicted to one a half year in jail – then commuted in some sort of social services – for touching a woman’s ass!
