Last night, from in front of my door.
Sorry for the silence but I’ve been distracted by my final decision to do another book, this one photo-driven, but with text from various sources, including this blog and my three previous books, plus road stuff I’ll be working on. It will be a retrospective, a memoir (my fourth, if you include Water Time as a memoir, which I do). A big book, square format with high quality reproductions. My last, I suspect — unless I find a way to publish from the Infinite Beyond.

I’ve gone against my better judgement by posting photos (one per day) on Facebook, using the f-ing ‘Likes,’ plus comments, as a general assessment on how folks respond to the images. If you don’t use Facebook (bless you) please don’t join on my account! But if you do use it and want to take a look, go ahead and… I can’t stand this term, but… ‘Friend’ me. Give images a like if you think they should be in the book. Although the book will be ‘photo-driven,’ some of the included images will make it in because they enhance the accompanying text.
Please don’t yell at me. I already feel like an asshole, but one Facebook-good thing is I may have found an associate to help produce the book. We’ll see. Details to come.
Point being, though, posts here might get a little spotty.
I’ve found a wonderful campsite on coastal Oregon, a dirt lot for RVs ($20 a night) overlooking Port Orford, a little fishing village that reminds me old time Montauk. I’m going to try to make a deal for an extended stay.
