Been on the road all day and am not in a great mood on the following matter: The commenter who calls himself ‘X’, and who I had in mind when I warned about those trying to ‘create a following,’ is using a phony email address to access my comment section.
When a comment is submitted I get a notification which includes the email address of the sender. In ‘X’s case, and given the tenor of his comments, I didn’t like the look of it: x@example.com. I tried emailing him but it bounced. When I looked into ‘example.com’ I was steered to some IT gobbledygook, which I asked for advice on. This led to a couple of you IT-savvy folks assuring me that X was up to no good, which I had already figured out.
Since email addresses are kept confidential (except from the blog-master, me), privacy cannot be X’s motive here. To those of you who have engaged with X in conversation, I hope this is a bit of a lesson. (It is for me too.) I’m not saying he did you any ‘damage,’ but I am saying that, as with all deceit, damage was his long-term agenda.
X, I’ll not ban you from the comment section but be advised that you’ll probably have to start over with your profundities, using a different Avatar/screen name, which I’m sure you have a-plenty.
On the other hand, if you have good reason for deceiving me, I’m all ears. We’re all ears. But pu-lease don’t try the ‘fooling Big Brother who will drone strike you since you know his secrets’ ploy.

Oh, and Lou: I can guarantee you that X’s salary somehow came out of your tax dollars. How do I know? I just fucking do.
You ought to take part in a contest for one of the
most useful websites on the net. I am going to recommend this blog!
