I’m hoping that the idea of posting a photo a day will goose me to try to get a share-able photo every day. This is impossible but it worked today. I love these guys, two brothers with their beards and flags.
They don’t believe the bullshit we’re told every day either. They own property up in the mountains, spend the summer chopping wood and the winter selling it for firewood to the snowbirds who winter in the low desert. They look the part, don’t they?

Wonderful photos Allan. You should be very proud of these.
Hi Allan, love the photos and the music – a perfect combination – thanks from uk.
Nice work Allan.
Some really great images.
Love your eye for lighting
Cheers
OUTSTANDING!!! Some are beyond outstanding. I so enjoyed your video and work.
Sorry I haven’t been around much but lost five family members recently in just weeks. Voo
Jesus, Voo, I’m so sorry to hear that.
As far as I know…All had gotten the CV…….including Lisa Marie. Two were a set of twins, boy and girl. We were told in 2021 that people would start dropping like flies in 2 years…It’s happening. sigh This makes 6 in my family alone….
Had they gotten the vaccine?
yes, that’s what I meant when I said CV covid vaccine 😊
Great pics! That is A LOT of content. How many years do suppose it took you to compile all these peeps?
Well, I’ve been on and off shooting since the 80s so it’s hard to say. I went for many years w/o a shot.
Excellent photo of the 2 men and your video collage too. I like to idea of you posting your work.
Really like the video Allan.
Well done sir, Its always very difficult to not get a posed / stagnant pic when photographing people
some amazing shots , you even got the dog lady from nexpa
Jody is it? Is she still going there? She must be as old as me.
I loved your people photos. In my opinion, they are your best subject.
In the early days, I thought Allan was not that interested in filming people….Hey, he just hadn’t got around to it! – he is killer good! – no one better in my opinion.
He captures their emotions, even in silhouette shots of the person.
I love all his drone photo’s especially.
I have come to see people as THE subject, even with landscapes. Trying to learn how to get them to not ‘pose’. Sometimes it’s as easy as saying ‘don’t pose’, sometimes not.
I know. Takes a lot more pizzazz to do people well. I love when I get lucky and go for it.
Often I’m the only subject around that will cooperate. Gus can be a pain.
