I put together a slide show, just of campsites, places I spent at least one night over the past eight years. It’s just over 10 minutes I think, which is probably too long to look at unconnected (or loosely connected) photographs, but since I actually have about 100 other ‘campsite’ photos that I edited out, count yourself lucky. Or don’t view it.
Which, however, reminds me: If you are reading this do me the favor of going to the link for a few seconds so I can judge how (poorly) I’m doing with maintaining a subscribership around (by the hit number, although I believe YT is screwing around with me on that, as Google is any of my links. The average number of comments has fallen off in the last few months and I’m not sure if it’s just me; I think my writing is deteriorating… In fact I know it. A question of degree.
Plus I’m not motivated like I used to be. Some of my old posts were too long, I realize that, but some were actually important, IMO, like the Corbett exposé, most of the Open Letters (there have been several), and the analysis of the ‘Manson Event’ book. And the Bug one, which was actually another Open Letter.

One problem I’m having is the absurd embarrassment of riches with which I, we, around surrounded. I mean, no matter what I might point out regarding HTWRW, a valid comeback would be… ‘Yeah, so what?’
Great set of pics. Makes me wish I was travelling….
Enjoyed that allot Allan. Images conjure up so many feelings and questions. Well done sir.
Thank you Allan … As always, time well spent.
So good to see you are still out there, I haven’t checked in for a while. The photos are more than all the words I could use to describe the journey I just witnessed . Thank you.
Hi Allan,
Following you since 1999 when I discovered and read cosmic bandits.
This is a great set of pictures.
You are really gifted. You should consider selling some of these in a photo gallery or online.
Thanks
Mehdi
He is.
I really enjoyed the photos. Good music selection as well.
Allan, you are cooking your board on the roof of your rig. I do dig your photos though.
