Be advised, folks, that I’m discontinuing the daily aspect of this blog. In looking at the numbers it’s apparent that I’m ‘losing eyes.’ What’s happening is that your time is limited and those who want to keep up with me are getting frustrated and in some cases saying, ‘Fuck it.’ In other words, my blog is causing the same problem I have in my head: Too much stuff.
Less time is being spent on any given post and, worse (to me), fewer links within the blogs are being clicked. For example, only six of you were curious enough about my wild ride with Joachim to click the 30 second video I provided. (Not that the video is of much ‘importance,’ but that’s not the point .)
Plus, there’s that beaut by Oscar Wilde (regarding a letter he had written): ‘I would have made it shorter but I didn’t have the time.’
Meaning my posts are too long. If I gave myself more editing time, they’d be less ponderous.
The last issue is the comments. The vast majority are of great interest to me but the exceptions are a negative distraction; the ‘moderation’ decisions I have to make burn still more time and energy.
So expect these about every other day. Meanwhile, I should wrap up (for now) the matter of Mike Palecek and his Penn Magazine. Based on the email exchange below, I have to put him in the same category as his close associate, Jim Fetzer: Those who often provide good information, but mix it with disinformation. The matter of Trump, who he is, how he came to be president, and why he came to be president is of some importance. Anyone who contributed to his election through unqualified support is, IMO, working an op on us.
Mike Palecek emailed me regarding my mention of him in my last post:

Oh, the support of Trump. [Referring to Fetzer]
Yes, I know.
Well, I was overjoyed to see Trump beat Hillary and I thought he might do more.
I think that Jim and others [and maybe me, a little] are still thinking that Trump will do things like blow the lid
off of 9/11, and other things, that he is somehow fighting the deep state.
To me, it’s all very confusing. I see almost nothing that Trump does that is good, and with every President it seems we are always waiting for them to be who they really are, and then nothing happens.
I think that probably Jim’s support of Trump is wavering and waiting, but that’s just a guess.
I answered:
Wait. You are STILL thinking that? ‘Still’ meaning now?
It’s very confusing?
You’re clear headed and deft enough to put out your magazine but can’t figure out what Trump is?
I don’t think so.
I have to assume what I have to assume.

Point being: Give Penn Magazine a look. Sophisticated stuff. And the runner of it can’t figure out Trump even now? Pu-lease.
So, okay. I’ll be back in a day or so.
Allan
Someone left a six pack of Corona and a lime at my door a couple nights ago, along with a note of encouragement. Much appreciated!
It also reminded me of how vulnerable I am with my posts and my pulsing cell phones and new iPad, which can amount to a cyber or literal bullseye… the old one about moving targets doesn’t hold up the way it used to.
