A Sky Diary

My silence is wearing on and getting distressing. The Too Much Stuff Syndrome.

Tomorrow I’m going back to the ‘wake up thought’ method and see if it works. Whatever is on my mind within the first 10 minutes after returning to ‘reality’ is going on this blog, for better or worse.

By saying this, I’ll have to do it. Presumably.

Meanwhile, I put together a video diary of the last week or so, mainly to see if there is still someone out there.

Here it is:

Allan

If you’ve tried to post a comment on my site and it didn’t show up, it’s because I’ve gotten so much spam that I quit dealing with it. Sorry! If you have a first comment that hasn’t showed up, email me via this site and I’ll okay it (once I’ve Okayed you they go through without my having to moderate).

So glad to have you back … look for you every day, and I must say the disappointment is huge when your words and video’s are absent …

You sure do pick the weirdest skies to park under.
    Good to have you back.

Not really. It’s more a question of persistence. In the last four and a half years I’ve set up my camera on the sky, hit the intervalometer button (which clicks the shutter every few seconds) and gone to sleep or whatever. The battery runs out four or so hours later; I then make a video out of the still photos (which turns four hours of real time into about a minute). I play it back at reduced speed to make sure I didn’t miss anything in the fast version.

Most of the time nothing interesting shows up on the video I create. But fairly often something… odd… appears. (If someone out there is an expert on aircraft night navigation lighting, I’d like to communicate with you, to see if some of my stuff has an obvious cause.) I have hundreds of hours of stuff, a lot of it comparable to this video. I just can’t seem to come up with a reason to put it all together in a … story… I need a story to hang the footage on. Ideas are welcome.

        Allan,
This is some remarkable footage. Almost not believable, but I trust you. Is this why so much of your time is spent in AZ or is it the wether? I have been wondering this for a long while. The North West is very beautiful but you gravitate to Arizona. More of this type of video please.

“Weather Modification, Inc., has a wide range of services to provide knowledge, data, equipment and capability at any phase in your project. We can also tailor a program to meet your specific objectives and manage it from beginning to end.”

“Our talented scientists, researchers, project managers, technicians, and pilots have the expertise you need to carry out an efficient, effective weather program.”

“Weather Modification, Inc., has been modifying and operating aircraft for cloud seeding and atmospheric research operations since 1961. We maintain and operate a fleet of more than 35 twin-engine aircraft in various configurations that meet the needs of every client.”

They are openly carrying out aerial operations of this kind. I wonder what disclosures can be had from this private company.

Good link. I was just now writing about the subject! (If you’re a Vonnegut fan, did you know his brother Bernard was on the ground floor of weather modification, back in the early 60s? Yep, workin’ for the gov’mint. Sort of a bummer…)

Great video and yes, we’re still out here, antennas up. I was hoping your video had a follow-up where you stayed up to witness the light phenomenon displaying time and relative position consistency. But I guess you’re getting too old to fuck with your bedtime like that. LoL

Hey, thanks to all you and ‘Happy Thanksgiving!’ (even though it’s another mind game from the PTB). I just wrote the first line to tomorrow’s blog. When I woke up I was thinking, ‘What are the odds?’ I dunno what I was referring to so I’m going to take Gus for a walk on the desert then come back and figure it out.

    Don’t expect too much.

      Hi Allan,
The times I’ve camped in New Mexico and the Four Corners region, I’ve seen a nightly astronomical show. While transits of the
International Space Station could be tracked on various apps, some movement of objects were ….as you say: “odd…”
The high desert altitude combined with low humidity creates seemingly crystal clear atmospheric conditions. (Much more clear than a mid ocean sky).
      Keep on truckin’ Amigo,
      Bill Heinemann

    Beautiful video Alan.

No ideas on the U – turn yet the bright flash shortly before it…. months ago driving down the canyon at sunset I watched what I presume to be a training exercise of some sort out of the Dugway base in Utah. During it about a dozen craft in rose in succession above the Oquirrhs and flashed with an explosion of light so brilliant it was borderline uncomfortable to look at (in remaining daylight, no less). After several seconds the light would fade and the craft would fly towards the salt lake and then circle back behind the mountains. Maybe these things happen often near such bases.

I appreciate your work, thank you.

I agree it was probably some flight testing and the guy with the U-turn was a fighter jet of some sort — I saw two fighters flying low the day before, right on the deck. The giveaway that something ‘weird’ is when the object stops or reverses direction instantly, which my lights did not do. I do have other vids of this sort of thing, but the long exposures are misleading and tough to analyze.

Man, I just realized I misspelled your name… and probably not for the first time. Probably/hopefully no big deal to you yet to me after all this time, well it just ain’t right. I’m embarrassed, my apologies.

Also had the thought that for all I know those craft came out of the mountain, not Dugway. Unlikely yeah, but my point is ‘for all i know’ as in I can’t say they didn’t.

I’m over in Holland staying with my girlfriend for awhile. Going to finally learn how to surf…in the north sea in December, haha! I’ll keep my eyes on these skies…

Glad that is not the case. Always enjoy your videos.

    Best wishes.

The u turn is particularly interesting and unusual. The viewer’s perspective of the straight tracking missiles, however ill-informed, could be explained away as “shooting stars”.

(As chemtrails are explained away as persistent contrails. As 911 is explained by official bullshit.)

There is no natural physical explanation for an airborn object in motion to make a u turn.

That video shot is a huge deal.

    • November 22, 2018 at 6:04 pm

As I say above, it would be a bigger deal if the turn was instant. The exposures that night were 10 seconds so the reversal of direction was not that instant. Not a problem for an F-18 or whatever. I would like to know what the lights were… they were so bright they lit up the sky around them. (You have to picture how a ten second exposure would work in real time.)

Well into The Grand Solar Minimum. Cold n Snow arrived a month early on the East Coast PEI. Brussel crop lost with early cold and big portion of potato crop lost due to wet and cold.
World wide crop failures adding up linked to future food shortages and inflation.
Government will claim it’s due to climate change but it will become obvious that the earth is cooling with dire consequences as we get further into the next Maunder Minimum.
