All these images are supposed to be the Chinese Virus, but I see little similarity. They remind me of NASA imagery.
I’m still getting some dumb ass comments, plus it’s tough to put behind me the guy who saw a movie and decided he didn’t want to be ready in case of infrastructure collapse. Presumably, he was ‘thinking’ that if he’s not prepared, nothing bad will happen, via cause and effect.

I’m especially talking to those who ‘agree with’, say, Jon Rappoport, who believes the China Scare is a complete hoax, i.e., there are no more people dying in China today than two months ago. This is the ‘reasoning’ some of you have used to subtly (in subtext) claim that I am somehow ‘wrong’ in suggesting you prepare for the worst.
Okay, if the scare is a complete hoax, then what’s the motive? And what’s next? Did any of you Rappoport fans even think about these questions, and the questions that follow from them?

See, I was in Mexico for the 2009 ‘scare’ and it was like no one, especially not the locals, seemed to notice. Yes, it was probably a hoax, to keep us nerve-wracked. But neither that one nor the ebola scare (one ebola infected person in the U.S.) were on this scale. Does this seem to be the case with the Chinese Scare? Do you think all those street scenes are faked? Why hasn’t someone blown the whistle on fakery of this magnitude? Do you have an answer?
Don’t you think that at some point they are going to have to come up with the real thing? I mean if they are going to get what they want, be it a one-world economy and/or government, or a culling of the population down to half a billion (their number).
A complete hoax is not going to work in bringing about the world-changing paradigm they yearn for. They will need the real thing.
If the Chinese are behind the hoax, what are they accomplishing? (Who else would be behind the street scenes and media information, given that the ‘outbreak’ is in China?) Do you think they want their stock markets to crash and their economy to suffer? Have you thought about this? How it makes no sense?
No, a complete hoax makes no sense, and would be too easily exposed. (People in Wuhan would be saying, ‘There is no problem, the street chaos is faked,’ if only on social media.)
But perhaps it isn’t a virus, but rather something else. Here’s an excerpt from a recent Rappoport post (yes, I read him and pay attention while doing so), a hypothetical ‘biowar attack’:
In some town, a fairly isolated community, the word goes out that people are suddenly falling ill and dying. The CDC and the Army are called in to cordon off the area and quarantine all citizens. A peremptory announcement is made, early on, that this is a biowar attack.

Then, after a few weeks or months, when the potency of the secret chemical has dispersed, it’s over.

You idiots who quote Jon in making your point that I am somehow ‘wrong,’ answer me this: If Jon’s above scenario is the case, how would they ‘come and get you’? Maybe while you’re on the street with the other idiots who did not prepare for a problem… where they’ll scoop you up and off to a detention center, where you will get the mandatory vaccine, ‘for your own good.’

I am surprised that nobody has realized that Wuhan was a big 5G test area and that the coronavirus was released on purpose to hide the fact that people were dying from the 5G which by the way has nothing to do with mobile telephones but which is in fact a DEW ie a directed energy weapon. Yes, I’ve been looking into that, but it appears that the alternative to germ theory comes down to the cause of disease being ‘in our heads,’ which is untenable, IMO. Still, the point that ‘viruses’ may not be what we have been told — or even if they exist at all — is worth looking into.

Containers are not shipping. Who owns most world containers where 90% of freight is transported? China. Who makes up to 80% of medical drugs, antibiotics, blood thinners since about 2000? China. While I completely agree with your advice to prepare- we’ve been self-sufficient homesteaders for over a decade, we generate our own power, fuel, livestock, food, etc and have a family filled with skilled carpenters/mechanics/plumbers/hunters/trappers/etc.
There are few things we still buy from the system, like toilet paper, coffee and bleach, but fewer things every year.
Unlike the popular perception of self-reliance being a life being one of want and poverty, it has proved to be the exact opposite, but that’s not the purpose of the comment.
I understand you believe that this particular strain of flu is different from every other health scare that has been the subject of media hype over the past several decades and that it poses a singular risk unlike any other. You may be right and preparing is good advice even if it has taken this long for most people to start getting ready for the contingencies that exist as part of a normal human lifespan.
What stands out for me isn’t your probity, in fact I salute the effort, it is your lack of imagination when it comes to influential people and governments exercising their power over the populations they rule over. Asking why a country would risk its economy, for example, begs the question, which country isn’t presently risking their economy by building up enormous amounts of debt, or shipping off all of their industrial base and intellectual capital to former and perhaps current enemies? Or for that matter exhausting themselves and spilling the blood and treasure of their own people in order to bring about illusory gains in hostile environments for decades without the slightest evidence of any kind of accomplishment (spreading democracy, for example).
It is hard, if not impossible for people to imagine other human beings exercising the kinds of power displays that end with millions dead in concentration camps, or worked to death in gulags or burned to cinders in nuclear blasts, yet we would have to be in some deep denial to ignore the hundreds of millions of innocent victims of powerful regimes over the past century and a half. Most of the worst offenders quite literally murdered not only their own people, but the economies they produced and even the nations and empires that exist only in the history books.
The fault in your assessment is not on the side of caution- which is extremely wise- but in your lack of historical knowledge of just how governments and their leaders behave when there exists no check on their exercise of power.
Maybe the purpose was to set up a cover story for a sudden disappearance and mass culling of a segment of society that was deemed unnecessary or troublesome, maybe to instill a fear of the spread of an invisible contagion that could lead to the end of say, physical cash, pushing everyone who desires to buy or sell to comply with a system entirely controlled by International bankers.
I don’t know, and I don’t care anymore than I do about the climate- neither are things I can do anything about, but it would be foolish in the extreme to ignore the possibility of some form of calamity brought about weather or bad actors.
Be prepared, that’s a great piece of advice, but never underestimate the evil that resides in the hearts of men.

Let me rephrase: Based on the Chinese PTB muddled reaction to the outbreak, I don’t think it’s a prank. The possibility that that they engineered the scare and that it’s real — ‘real’ meaning genuinely dangerous, although not necessarily via a ‘virus’ (see the Rappoport excerpt in my post) has never been in doubt (IMO). See what I’m saying?

Great, Bill. Your last sentence is a heart-warmer. I would add though, that I find it unlikely that a Level 4 bio lab would ‘accidentally’ let loose a pathogen. The protocols make this very difficult, physically. (They have double and triple protections against this, with negative air pressure and so forth.) If the virus was from a lab, it was let loose purposefully. IMO.
Many of the Russian people believe (my friends included) that the virus was US engineered and released in the Wuhan area to slow the Chinese economy. This has in fact been reported by several Kremlin-controlled news outlets (google it). Who was it that first spread the Wuhan market pangolin and bat theories? Those sources were US.
It’s a global pandemic that does not kill, but meant to collapse markets. As Chinese factories and shipping slow, a late 2020 recession becomes more likely. One theory suggests a 50% meltdown “best case scenario“ due to labor shortages. For instance, China and Taiwan are already isolated from traveling to many countries including the US. Thailand, Japan, and Cambodia are next. What if the virus were to spread to the Philippines and they were subsequently sanctioned? There are over 750,000 Filipino seaman running merchant fleets all over the world. Over 1/3 of ships on the planet are Filipino crewed. If those crews can’t be relieved by the end of their contract dates, 1/3 of the global shipping fleet comes to a stop. This is one of many afterthoughts that may come to light. The trickle-down cause and effect of this contagion could be very severe on markets.
The 10% mortality rate of the Coronavirus is well below that of Sars, Ebola, and the Spanish flu, and within a range that the think-tanks thought might be CDC controlled or neutralized here in the US. But even the normal influenza virus, which mutates through antigenic drift annually and biannually, has a mortality rate of 1-2%. If the Corona is more contagious than the flu, and we can’t isolate ourselves from the flu, then I suggest you prepare yourself for a market crash.

With respect to the virus I don’t think it particularly matters what ‘it’ is to the common man such as you or I. The PTB will manipulate the situation for what they can for what they can get; it may be manufactured (the disease or the ‘crisis) or it may not – it can be exploited in any case. JR’s stance as a sceptic is a reasonable one since there is every chance that the proffered ‘cure’ for this crisis in terms of civil liberties may be much more harmful than the disease (c.f. ‘the war on terror / drugs etc etc).

Allan. TBH self responsibility / reliance is becoming an increasingly rare phenomenon. Get sick – the doctor will help. Irresponsible with your finances – the state will look after you. It is being pushed really hard in the uk, by the likes of such luminaries as The Dailymail, the sun, the BBC, all of them are churning the same narrative not because its NEWS(not even worth sharing) but because they have been told to say it by whoever controls the narrative!

I’m prepped, and to be able to isolate yourself because of a plague, is the most likely scenario. But it would be complicated, we have jobs to keep, and I would not leave my beloved behind and head to the woods.

Yep it is a worry. Vaccination only makes sense if you sell vaccines. If you were the ‘person’ in charge of humanity over, say, a 10,000 year period you wouldn’t let anyone near it. Pathogens and the immune system of an organism work in a synchronous relationship – the pathogens kill off the weak and the unlucky; the individuals that remain have less competition for resources . Even if vaccines worked half as well as claimed then you are breaking that delicate balance. The time that the pharmaceutical companies fail to keep pace with nature (and they will fail) then there is a die-off far worse than would had been the case if nature had been left to keep pace. Humanity would be in a situation with a genotype completely unadapted to the type of pathogens it faces – a situation similar to that when new pathogens from the west were brought into the Americas. This could very easily result in an extinction event but no-one ever seems to consider this as a logical consequence of the out-sourcing of the immune system.
Yeah, I know it’s not easy for folks with jobs and families and so forth, but you got to do your best. Don’t wait until the last minute in your planning for bad news.
